MASIMBA NEMASIMBA

MASIMBA NEMASIMBA
Mbira dziridze.
Marimba dzimuke.
Guitar chema.
Choir pindurai.
This world is not neutral.
Haizi neutral territory.
Paul said:
we wrestle not against flesh and blood,
but powers and principalities.
John said:
the whole world lies under the evil one.
But Christ came
to transfer us from darkness
into the Kingdom of light.
[HOOK]
Masimba nemasimba,
powers in the air.
World says freedom,
but chains everywhere.
Masimba nemasimba,
behind the system.
Old darkness now wearing
new digital skin.
But Jesu anobvisa
from darkness to light.
Ropa raJesu rinotyora
the chains of the night.
Masimba nemasimba,
but Christ is above them.
Jesu ndiye Mambo,
every power must bow.
[VERSE 1]
Paul said the battle
is not just flesh and blood.
Not just people,
not just politics,
not just money,
not just pressure in the mud.
There are rulers,
authorities,
powers in the unseen.
Spiritual wickedness
behind what looks clean.
The world wears makeup,
but the soul can smell smoke.
It sells you freedom,
then tightens the rope.
It says, “Follow desire.”
It says, “You are your own.”
It says, “Build your kingdom.”
It says, “Take the throne.”
Same serpent whisper,
same Eden infection.
“Be your own god,”
same old deception.
Now it comes through screens,
through adverts and trends.
Through envy and lust,
through fake online friends.
Digital Babylon glows blue,
but the chains are still old.
A new glass idol
with an ancient soul.
[PRE-HOOK]
World says freedom,
but it trains your desire.
World says choose,
but it feeds you fire.
World says live,
but it sells you death.
World says breathe,
but it steals your breath.
[HOOK]
Masimba nemasimba,
powers in the air.
World says freedom,
but chains everywhere.
Masimba nemasimba,
behind the system.
Old darkness now wearing
new digital skin.
But Jesu anobvisa
from darkness to light.
Ropa raJesu rinotyora
the chains of the night.
Masimba nemasimba,
but Christ is above them.
Jesu ndiye Mambo,
every power must bow.
[VERSE 2]
John said don’t love the world,
or the things it parades.
Lust of the flesh,
lust of the eyes,
pride of life fades.
This world-system passes,
like smoke in the sun.
But whoever does God’s will
abides when it’s done.
John also said
the world lies under evil.
Not because trees are evil,
not because rivers are evil.
Creation is God’s work,
beautiful but groaning.
The world-system is rebellion,
fallen hearts enthroning.
Money becomes altar.
Body becomes idol.
Status becomes priest.
Pleasure reads the Bible.
Fame becomes heaven.
Tech becomes saviour.
Algorithms become shepherds
training human behaviour.
But no app can cleanse you.
No brand can make you whole.
No platform can resurrect
a dead human soul.
[PRE-HOOK 2]
Idols have changed clothing,
but they still cannot speak.
They promise power,
but they make the spirit weak.
Wood, stone, gold, screen,
same hunger, same lie.
Worship the creature,
then wonder why hearts die.
[HOOK]
Masimba nemasimba,
powers in the air.
World says freedom,
but chains everywhere.
Masimba nemasimba,
behind the system.
Old darkness now wearing
new digital skin.
But Jesu anobvisa
from darkness to light.
Ropa raJesu rinotyora
the chains of the night.
Masimba nemasimba,
but Christ is above them.
Jesu ndiye Mambo,
every power must bow.
[VERSE 3]
Colossians says God rescued us
from the domain of darkness.
Brought us into the Kingdom
of His beloved Son.
This is not self-help.
This is deliverance.
Not mood improvement.
This is exodus.
From fear to faith.
From idols to worship.
From shame to sonship.
From darkness to light.
Jesus did not negotiate
with the kingdom of death.
He entered our realm
and took human breath.
He cast out demons,
strongholds started shaking.
He healed the sick,
curse-code started breaking.
He touched the leper,
uncleanness lost claim.
He raised the dead,
graveyards heard His Name.
Then at the Cross,
the powers thought they won.
But wisdom of God
was hidden in the Son.
Colossians says
He disarmed the powers.
Triumphed over them
through the Cross in that hour.
[BRIDGE]
So don’t fear darkness
more than you trust the King.
Don’t fear curses
more than blood that sings.
Don’t fear spirits
more than Christ who rose.
Don’t fear systems
more than the One who knows.
The Son sets free,
you are free indeed.
Not by charm,
not by ritual,
not by greed.
By Cross.
By blood.
By empty grave.
By risen King
mighty to save.

[FINAL VERSE]
So wake up, mwana,
this world is training hearts.
It baptises desire
in neon and charts.
It calls sin freedom,
calls chains self-expression.
It sells you identity
without resurrection.
But Jesus calls louder
than the algorithm’s breath.
“Come out of darkness,
come out of death.”
Repent from idols.
Renounce the lie.
The world is passing.
Christ is alive.
If you stay in the system,
loss is your end.
Everything gained
will turn dust in your hand.
But if you come to Christ,
mercy receives.
The blood still cleanses,
the captive still leaves.
[FINAL HOOK]
Masimba nemasimba,
