THE DOOR IS STILL OPEN
THE NAZARENE

[INTRO]

Door still open.
Light still on.
Breath still moving.
Come back home.

Don’t wait for the coffin.
Don’t wait for the flame.
Jesus still calls
your name.

[VERSE 1]

You heard the warning and your chest felt tight,
blue screen glow in the room at night.
Soul got quiet when the words cut through,
that was not guilt trying to ruin you.

That was mercy at the doorframe knocking,
Spirit of God while the clock still talking.
Not tomorrow, not “one more phase,”
today is grace in a burning age.

Some ran far with a smile on show,
came back empty where the heart runs low.
Some hid shame in a polished lie,
some wore pride but were scared to die.

You may have laughed when the sermon came,
may have mocked hell, may have played with flame.
May have scrolled past Christ for years,
but the door is open while you still have tears.

Don’t let the devil turn shame to chains,
don’t let regret build iron gates.
If your lungs still rise and your soul still hears,
the King is calling through holy fear.

[HOOK]

The door is still open, the light’s still on,
the Father still calls to the wandering one.
Turn from sin, let the old life end,
Jesus receives all who come to Him.

The door is still open, don’t stay outside,
blood still speaks where the Saviour died.
Come home now while mercy is near,
Christ is calling, sinner, come here.

[VERSE 2]

Prodigal feet on a dirty road,
pockets gone and the shame got cold.
He rehearsed lines with a broken tongue,
but the Father ran when He saw His son.

That is the heart of the Gospel call,
not fake peace painted on a cracked-up wall.
Real sin, real debt, real shame, real fall,
but stronger grace when the lost ones crawl.

Hell is real, don’t soften the word,
judgement is real, let the truth be heard.
But Christ did not come to leave men lost,
He opened the door through blood and Cross.

No priestly polish can wash your stain,
no self-help ladder can break your chain.
No late-night numb, no lover, no fame,
no world-made cure can heal your name.

But Jesus can.
Say it plain.
Jesus can wash the deepest stain.
Jesus can raise the dead inside.
Jesus can break what the years tried to hide.

So don’t just tremble and turn away,
don’t feel conviction then drift next day.
The warning was never the final sound,
mercy is calling you out of the ground.

[VERSE 3]

See Him there with the door made wide,
arms stretched out where the guilty hide.
Jesus Christ came in flesh and bone,
holy God stepping into our own.

No sin in His walk, no stain in His breath,
yet He walked straight into curse and death.
Hands that blessed got nailed to wood,
the only One righteous where rebels stood.

Blood ran down for the liar, the thief,
the drunk, the proud, the numb in grief.
For the church-mask heart and the street-lost soul,
for the rich with gold and the poor gone cold.

He cried “finished,” the debt was paid,
entered the grave where the dead are laid.
Stone rolled shut and the world looked done,
but dawn came loud with the risen Son.

Body raised, scars still bright,
death got stripped of its borrowed might.
Hell has no crown over those He frees,
Christ has the keys and the victory.

Repent means turn from the road you chose,
leave the dark where the old sin grows.
Believe means come with empty hands,
trust the Lamb who forever stands.

Bring Him your lust, your pride, your fear,
bring Him the years you wasted here.
Bring Him the guilt, the grief, the chains,
He calls dead hearts by name again.

[BRIDGE]

Mercy is near.
Do not delay.
The door stands open
today, today.

Blood for the guilty.
Grace for the scarred.
Life for the sinner
who wandered far.

Come while your breath still rises.
Come while the light still shines.
Come to the risen Jesus.
Come while there’s still time.

[FINAL HOOK]

The door is still open, the light’s still on,
the Father still calls to the wandering one.
Turn from sin, let the old life end,
Jesus receives all who come to Him.

The door is still open, don’t stay outside,
blood still speaks where the Saviour died.
Come home now while mercy is near,
Christ is calling, sinner, come here.

[OUTRO]

Door still open.
Light still on.
Run to Jesus.
Come back home.
