TIME IS RUNNING OUT

TIME IS RUNNING OUT
THE NAZARENE
[INTRO]
Clock tick loud.
Breath still thin.
Door still open.
Don’t stay in sin.
Midnight near.
Mercy shouts.
Come to Christ.
Time is running out.
[VERSE 1]
I saw the clock in my mind strike near,
whole earth quiet but the tick got clear.
People still laughing with a glass held high,
but the soul knows well it was born to die.
No one books when the final bell rings,
no one owns what the next breath brings.
One more scroll, one more plan, one more route,
then the room goes still and the lights go out.
This is not theatre, not fear for streams,
not red smoke painted on nightmare scenes.
This is mercy with a warning sound,
wake up now while your feet touch ground.
Broad road smooth with a velvet glow,
but the end don’t care what your followers know.
Status can’t speak when the grave mouth calls,
money can’t climb through eternal walls.
I’m not laughing at the lost, I’m crying,
seen too many souls sleepwalk while dying.
If your chest still lifts, that is grace on loan,
God gave breath, but He owns the throne.
So hear the trumpet in the midnight air,
seek the Lord while His mercy is there.
Jesus still saves when the proud heart bows,
don’t say tomorrow, come right now.
[HOOK]
Time is running out, but the door’s still wide,
Jesus is Life on the other side.
Turn from sin while the blood still speaks,
mercy still calls to the lost and weak.
Time is running out, but the King still saves,
Christ walked out of the sealed-up grave.
Come home now, let the old life die,
Jesus gives life that will never die.
[VERSE 2]
Hell is real, I say that with tears,
not for shock, not for clout, not cheers.
God is holy, sin is not small,
every proud heart must answer the call.
Some say, “Later, I’m young, I’m blessed,”
but the morgue don’t ask if you passed your test.
Some say, “I’m good, I’m calm, I’m clean,”
but God sees stains that the mirror ain’t seen.
Some wear church like a Sunday coat,
clean white smile with a shipwrecked boat.
Say “Lord, Lord” with a polished sound,
but saving faith lets the idols drown.
The prophets cried in the street and dust,
“Turn from evil, leave false trust.”
Isaiah called to the thirsty soul,
come without money and be made whole.
Ezekiel saw dry bones stand,
life came back by the Lord’s command.
But dead hearts don’t wake by human will,
God must speak where the grave sits still.
No parties in hell, no throne for pride,
no secret sin with a place to hide.
No last-minute mask when judgement’s set,
no rewind button for regret.
But mercy is near while your lungs still rise,
blood still speaks under open skies.
Don’t let the warning pass your house,
come to the Saviour, time is running out.
[VERSE 3]
Here is the Gospel, clear as flame,
sin is the wound and we bear the blame.
Holy God and a guilty race,
no clean heart without saving grace.
Jesus Christ came in human flesh,
true man breathing our dust and death.
No sin in Him, no stain, no lie,
yet He came for sinners to die.
Cross on His back, blood from His brow,
mercy was speaking then, mercy speaks now.
Nails went deep and the sky turned dim,
judgement fell on the Lamb for sin.
He shed His blood for the guilty stain,
bore our curse, bore our shame.
Cried out loud, then gave His breath,
entered fully the valley of death.
They buried His body, the stone was sealed,
hope looked hidden, the wound looked real.
But the third day broke with a holy sound,
Jesus rose bodily out of the ground.
Not a symbol, not a vibe, not a dream,
death got split by the risen King.
Keys in His hand, scars still bright,
He calls dead sinners into life.
Repent and believe, don’t drift, don’t wait,
the broad road smiles but it ends at a gate.
Bring Him your fear, your pride, your doubt,
come to Christ while time runs out.
[BRIDGE]
Mercy for the guilty.
Grace for the proud.
Life for the dying.
Hope crying loud.
Blood for the sinner.
Peace for the soul.
Christ is the doorway.
Come and be whole.
Come while the clock still ticks.
Come while the door stays wide.
Come while the Spirit warns you.
Come to the Crucified.
[FINAL HOOK]
Time is running out, but the door’s still wide,
Jesus is Life on the other side.
Turn from sin while the blood still speaks,
mercy still calls to the lost and weak.
Time is running out, but the King still saves,
Christ walked out of the sealed-up grave.
Come home now, let the old life die,
Jesus gives life that will never die.
[OUTRO]
Midnight near.
Mercy calls.
Turn to Jesus Christ
before the final hour falls.
