THE NAZARENE

INTRO
I don’t speak what fear has spoken.
I speak what God has said.
The night may shout around me,
But Christ is alive in me.

VERSE 1
Greater is He who lives in me
Than he who moves through the world.
So now I shall not fear,
Though the night feels dark and cold.

The Lord is my light and my salvation,
Whom shall I fear today?
The Lord is the strength of my life,
So fear has to move away.

I am not rejected,
I am chosen and known.
I am not abandoned,
I am held by the throne.

I am God’s workmanship,
Created in Christ for good.
I walk in grace prepared for me,
Standing where mercy stood.

I can do all things through Christ
Who gives me strength to stand.
When I feel weak, His power moves
Like fire through trembling hands.

My God shall supply my needs
According to His glory.
So I won’t bow to panic,
He is writing my story.

I am more than a conqueror
Through Him who loves my soul.
Neither death nor life can separate
Me from His holy hold.

I am forgiven fully,
My sin has lost its claim.
There is no condemnation
For those in Jesus’ name.

I am the righteousness of God
In Christ, by grace alone.
Not by my works or striving,
But by the blood He owns.

I am washed, I am sanctified,
I am justified by grace.
The Father sees me through the Son,
And mercy knows my face.

I am a temple of the Spirit,
God’s breath lives inside.
I won’t sell my soul to darkness,
I won’t let lies decide.

I have not received fear’s spirit,
But power, love, sound mind.
So when anxiety knocks at night,
I answer with the Light.

The Lord is my Shepherd,

Even through the valley’s shadow,
He leads and brings me back.

He prepares a table for me
Where my enemies can see.
Goodness and mercy follow,
They are chasing after me.

By His wounds I am healed,
By His cross I am free.
The Son has made me free indeed,
So chains must bow and leave.

I cast my cares upon Him,
For He cares for me.
I humble my heart under His hand,
And He lifts me faithfully.

BRIDGE
When I am weak, He is strong.
When I feel lost, He leads me on.
When I fall down, grace restores.
When storms arise, Christ is Lord.

When darkness speaks, the Word speaks louder.
When fear surrounds, His love has power.
When I can’t see, His promise stays.
Jesus is with me all my days.

VERSE 5
I am blessed with every blessing
In the heavenly place.
I am adopted by the Father,
Chosen in love and grace.

I am sealed with the Spirit,
Marked until redemption’s day.
He who began this work in me
Will finish what He made.

I am salt and light in the earth,
A city on a hill.
I won’t hide what God has done,
I will shine according to His will.

I overcome by the blood of the Lamb
And the word I testify.
My life is hidden with Christ in God,
And Christ will be my life.
