LYRICS:

[INTRO]

Council in the clouds.
Court is in session.
Thrones are set.
Books open.
Yahweh stands.
Every lesser throne trembles.

[VERSE 1]

Psalm eighty-two, let the courtroom breathe,
God stands up where the gods take heed.
Elohim in the midst of flame,
but none of them carry the Holy Name.

Not judges in robes on a village floor,
Psalm eighty-nine puts the court in the soar.
Council in clouds, holy ones fear,
who in the heavens can compare when He’s near?

Not polytheism, not equal throne,
Yahweh is God in a class alone.
Other elohim? Yes, but created.
Yahweh unmade, self-exalted.

He is not first in a line of peers,
He is before all days and years.
Maker of hosts, commander of flame,
all other powers are dust to His Name.

So when He rises, the council shakes,
corrupt administration cracks and breaks.
“You judged unjust, you fed the proud,
ignored the weak while the poor cried loud.”

That’s not theology locked in books,
that’s God inspecting cosmic crooks.
Princes of nations, judged for fraud,
lesser gods on trial before God.

[HOOK]

Council in the clouds, court of the King,
holy ones tremble when the shofars ring.
Yahweh stands, every throne gets weighed,
no false god survives that blade.

Council in the clouds, books on fire,
Ancient of Days with the holy attire.
Son of Man comes riding high,
Jesus is Lord of earth and sky.

[VERSE 2]

Deuteronomy thirty-two, rewind the nations,
Babel broke into divine allocations.
Most High split the borders wide,
sons of God took nations aside.

But Jacob was Yahweh’s chosen portion,
Israel carved from empire distortion.
Not because Israel was large or clean,
but covenant grace in the unseen.

The nations went under lesser rule,
but those rulers turned beastly and cruel.
Psalm eighty-two is the court appeal:
“Rise up, God, take back the field.”

That’s why the idols are not just wood,
behind the statue something stood.
Demon powers, cosmic claim,
nations bowed to another name.

But God is not nervous, God is not stretched,
Heaven never panics when idols flex.
He lets them rule, then calls the case,
“Die like men, fall from place.”

That bar should shake every empire jaw:
immortals sentenced under divine law.
The thrones that seemed too high to reach
fall when the Most High starts to speak.

[HOOK]

Council in the clouds, court of the King,
holy ones tremble when the shofars ring.
Yahweh stands, every throne gets weighed,
no false god survives that blade.

Council in the clouds, books on fire,
Ancient of Days with the holy attire.
Son of Man comes riding high,
Jesus is Lord of earth and sky.

[VERSE 3]

First Kings twenty-two, prophet sees through,
Micaiah saw what the kings never knew.
Yahweh enthroned, hosts left and right,
council deliberates judgement night.

“Who will entice Ahab to fall?”
Spirits speak in the heavenly hall.
One steps forward with a strategy line,
Yahweh permits it inside His design.

Don’t get twisted, God still reigns,
council moves but He holds chains.
He is not learning, not surprised,
He lets created minds advise.

That is deep sovereignty, not flat control,
the King runs court and still owns the whole.
Freedom below, freedom above,
still all hemmed in by holy love.

Prophets don’t guess from human trends,
they stand where the throne-room sentence descends.
Jeremiah said if they stood in the council,
they’d speak true fire and not false counsel.

So fake prophets with a sponsored grin
never stood where the seraphim spin.
They sell calm where judgement looms,
perfume sprayed over open tombs.

[BRIDGE]

Court in the clouds.
Thrones in a ring.
Hosts in attendance.
Yahweh is King.

Not one rival.
Not one peer.
Heaven keeps silence
when His voice draws near.

[VERSE 4]

Daniel seven, now the vision ignites,
beasts rise up from chaotic nights.
Empires grow teeth, horns talk proud,
then the court sits down in a thundercloud.

Ancient of Days, white flame hair,
wheels of fire under judgement chair.
Books are opened, beast gets slain,
kingdoms melt under holy reign.

Then comes One like a Son of Man,
cloud-rider moving by divine command.
Baal stole titles in the pagan song,
but the cloud belongs where it all belonged.

To Yahweh alone, yet Daniel sees
a second figure on heaven’s breeze.
He comes with clouds to the Ancient throne,
receives all nations as His own.

Dominion, glory, kingdom given,
earth now ruled by the Man from heaven.
Not temporary, not on loan,
everlasting Kingdom, unshaken throne.

That is Jesus before Caiaphas’ face:
“You’ll see the Son come with cloud-space.”
They knew the claim, they tore their clothes,
the cloud-rider stood beneath their nose.

[HOOK]

Council in the clouds, court of the King,
holy ones tremble when the shofars ring.
Yahweh stands, every throne gets weighed,
no false god survives that blade.

Council in the clouds, books on fire,
Ancient of Days with the holy attire.
Son of Man comes riding high,
Jesus is Lord of earth and sky.

[VERSE 5]

John ten, Christ quotes Psalm eighty-two,
not dodging deity, He’s driving through.
“You call them gods? The Scripture stands.
Now look at the works in My own hands.”

He is not saying, “I’m merely like men.”
He is pressing the blade much deeper than them.
If divine sons exist in your scroll,
what of the Son whom the Father controls?

Monogenes, not “made one day,”
unique of kind in the highest way.
Isaac was called it, though Ishmael lived,
unique covenant son, promise given.

So Jesus is Son in a class alone,
not council member beneath the throne.
He bears the Name, He is the Word,
the Father in Him, the claim is heard.

Angel of Yahweh, Presence flame,
now flesh and blood bears the holy Name.
Wisdom of God, cloud-rider true,
the second power stands in view.

No other son can wear that crown,
no lesser god can pull death down.
No council prince can save the lost,
only the Son enthroned by cross.

[VERSE 6]

So bring your idols, bring your thrones,
bring your demons behind carved stones.
Bring your nations, bring your kings,
bring your algorithm angel wings.

Bring Digital Babylon, coded priest,
bring beast systems from west to east.
Bring false councils in marble rooms,
bring graveyard gods from ancient tombs.

The court already has the case,
the Lamb has blood, the Son has place.
The Father has spoken, the Spirit seals,
the Kingdom comes and the old world reels.

We don’t worship stars, hosts, signs,
we worship the Maker of space and time.
We don’t fear gods assigned to lands,
Christ has scars in His ruling hands.

The nations are inheritance now,
every knee brought low to bow.
Psalm two kisses the Son with fear,
New Jerusalem drawing near.

This is not small church talk tonight,
this is throne-room war in sapphire light.
The council bows, the heavens sing:
Jesus is Lord, Christ is King.

[FINAL HOOK]

Council in the clouds, court of the King,
holy ones tremble when the shofars ring.
Yahweh stands, every throne gets weighed,
no false god survives that blade.

Council in the clouds, books on fire,
Ancient of Days with the holy attire.
Son of Man comes riding high,
Jesus is Lord of earth and sky.

[OUTRO]

God stands in the council.
The gods are judged.
The nations are reclaimed.
The Son is enthroned.

No rival.
No equal.
No second crown.

Only the Father.
Only the Son.
Only the Spirit.
One God.
Kingdom come.
