TITLE: DRY BONES WILL RISE

[INTRO]

Memento mori.

Remember death.

Catacombs whisper:

All flesh returns.

But Ezekiel heard bones move.

And the Son of Man is coming.

Listen.

[VERSE 1]

Catacomb walls with the skulls stacked tight,
silent crowds in the underground night.
Kings, kids, merchants, priests, unknown,
all reduced to a borrowed bone.

Memento mori on the cold stone face,
death don’t care about name or place.
Designer fades, empire folds,
flesh goes quiet when the grave gets bold.

Dust has receipts for the whole mankind,
every proud thought gets left behind.
Crowns corrode, watches stop,
blood runs still when the body drops.

That’s not gloom, that’s sober sight,
wisdom walks through a graveyard night.
Teach us to number the days we hold,
before our lungs turn thin and cold.

But the Bible goes deeper than “all men die,”
death is an enemy under God’s sky.
Sin came in and the grave got claim,
Adam’s fall put dust in the frame.

So don’t just visit the bones and stare,
ask where the soul goes after the air.
A coffin is not the final page,
there is judgement beyond this age.

[HOOK]

Dry bones will rise
when the Son speaks loud.
Graves will open,
every knee bow down.

Only Jesus saves.
Only Jesus saves.
Bones cannot cleanse you,
death cannot raise.

Covered by blood,
resurrection life.
Outside of Christ,
judgement and night.

[VERSE 2]

Ezekiel stood in a valley of death,
dry bones scattered with no warm breath.
God said, “Son of man, can these bones live?”
Prophet said, “Lord, You know what You give.”

Then came the Word like a storm through dust,
bone joined bone where the silence was crushed.
Sinews and flesh came back in place,
but breath had to enter by sovereign grace.

That’s Israel’s hope and a signpost too,
God can raise what death ran through.
No grave too dry, no night too sealed,
when the Lord commands, the dead are healed.

But hear this sharp, don’t twist the theme,
resurrection ain’t just a comfort dream.
Daniel spoke of the sleeping dust,
some to glory, some to disgust.

John five says the dead shall hear
the Son of God when His voice comes clear.
Some rise to life in mercy bright,
some rise judged by the holy Light.

That means death is not escape from God,
not blank sleep where the guilty nod.
If sin’s not covered by the Lamb who bled,
judgement still waits for the walking dead.

[HOOK]

Dry bones will rise
when the Son speaks loud.
Graves will open,
every knee bow down.

Only Jesus saves.
Only Jesus saves.
Time cannot cleanse you,
tombs cannot raise.

Covered by blood,
resurrection life.
Outside of Christ,
judgement and night.

[BRIDGE]

Catacombs say:

You will die.

Ezekiel says:

God can raise.

Revelation says:

Books will open.

The Gospel says:

Come to Christ.

[VERSE 3]

Son of Man came low in a servant frame,
Daniel’s vision with a Nazareth Name.
Clouds of heaven in His future right,
but first He walked through hunger and night.

He touched the leper, opened blind eyes,
called Lazarus out while the mourners cried.
“Come forth,” thundered into death’s domain,
grave clothes loosened at the sound of His Name.

That miracle preached what the Cross would prove,
death ain’t sovereign when Christ says move.
But Lazarus rose to breathe then die,
Christ rose never again to lie.

At Calvary Hill, the atonement stood,
sin met judgement in holy blood.
Nails in hands for the hands that sinned,
blood poured out for the rot within.

The sky went dark and the rocks were torn,
tombs broke open when grace was born.
The Lamb took wrath that the soul deserved,
mercy and justice in one Word served.

They laid Him down in a borrowed cave,
but death could not hold the One who saves.
Third day morning, the stone moved wide,
Firstfruits rose with eternal life.

Now resurrection splits two roads,
one with Christ where the new life flows.
One without Him where the books accuse,
no blood, no robe, no Gospel refuge.

[HOOK]

Dry bones will rise
when the Son speaks loud.
Graves will open,
every knee bow down.

Only Jesus saves.
Only Jesus saves.
Works cannot cleanse you,
fear cannot raise.

Covered by blood,
resurrection life.
Outside of Christ,
judgement and night.

[VERSE 4]

When the Son of Man comes with clouds and flame,
every false god will forget its name.
Screens go black, markets freeze,
beasts get judged and the proud bend knees.

Trumpet will tear through the cemetery air,
catacombs shake, every skull laid bare.
Sea gives dead, earth gives bones,
no one hides from the King on the throne.

Books get opened with a holy weight,
every word, every deed, every hidden state.
Not by postcode, not by fame,
not by church mask or street name.

If your name is written in the Lamb’s life book,
you stand by grace when the Judge will look.
Washed in blood, clothed in white,
raised in Christ to eternal light.

But if you refuse the pierced King’s call,
your resurrection becomes your fall.
Not because mercy was never near,
but because you loved your sin and fear.

So hear this now while your lungs still move,
the grave is preaching and the Cross is proof.
Repent and believe before night arrives,
Christ is the Life where dry bones rise.

[FINAL HOOK]

Dry bones will rise
when the Son speaks loud.
Graves will open,
every knee bow down.

Only Jesus saves.
Only Jesus saves.
His blood can cleanse you,
His voice can raise.

Covered by blood,
resurrection life.
Outside of Christ,
judgement and night.

[OUTRO]

Catacombs whisper.

Ezekiel prophesies.

Trumpets answer.

The Son of Man returns.

Bones will rise.

Books will open.

The Lamb still calls.

Jesus is Lord.
