THE BOOK STILL SPEAKS

THE BOOK STILL SPEAKS
THE NAZARENE
Subtitle: THE WORD WAS MADE FLESH
[INTRO]
The world was burned.
The shelves were empty.
The roads were dust.
But one Book still walked through the wasteland.
[VERSE]
He carried the Book through ash like fire had spared a witness, boots on cracked road, sky bruised, cities hollow, shelves stripped, churches broken, mouths thirsty, men violent, civilisation reduced to appetite with sunglasses on,
and everybody knew words still mattered, even after the bombs, even after the libraries turned to smoke, even after law became a rumour, because a world without the Word still understands that language can rule the hungry,
one man wanted the Book for power, not worship, wanted Scripture like a throne, verses like ammunition, holy pages as crowd control, because tyrants do not hate religion if they can hold the microphone,
that is the sermon under the wasteland, not just survival, but the fight over the Word, whether it becomes light to lead sinners to Christ or a weapon in the hand of a blind king,
and we do this too, living in an age stuffed with text but starving for truth, captions, comments, laws, codes, prompts, contracts, slogans, manifestos, status updates, screenshots, receipts, essays, lyrics, feeds, and still the soul is dry,
we carry more words in our pockets than old kings carried in palaces, but more words have not made us wise, more screens have not cleansed our guilt, more opinions have not raised the dead,
because information is not salvation, data is not holiness, literacy is not repentance, and a Bible app unopened is not a living sword in the heart,
the wasteland is not only after apocalypse, the wasteland is now, homes with Wi-Fi and no prayer, children with tablets and no shepherd, minds fed all day and souls malnourished, people scrolling through famine with full batteries,
and the enemy still wants the Book twisted, quoted without Christ, used without love, sold without repentance, weaponised without tears, turned into politics, superstition, merch, therapy, empire, aesthetic, anything except a witness to the crucified and risen Lord,
but the Book still speaks, not because paper is magic, not because ink saves, but because God has spoken, and all Scripture breathes toward the Son,
Moses points, prophets cry, psalms ache, sacrifices bleed, kings fail, temples fall, exile burns, promises remain, lambs die, priests stand, graves wait, and every road in the Book bends toward Jesus Christ,
He is the Word made flesh, not merely a sentence preserved, but God the Son stepping into dust, the true Light walking our wasteland, hungry with the hungry, tempted in the wilderness, preaching good news to the poor, opening blind eyes, feeding crowds, forgiving sinners,
the blind man carried the Book, but Christ opens eyes, the road had danger, but Christ walks through death, the pages had power, but the Person has authority over creation, demons, sin, sickness, sea, grave and judgement,
then Calvary, where the Word was nailed by men who knew letters but missed God, scholars, soldiers, rulers, crowds, all reading the moment wrong while Scripture was being fulfilled in blood,
the Lamb of God lifted up, holy hands pierced, real flesh torn, real wrath borne, real mercy flowing, not a symbol for power, not a speech for empire, but the Son of God dying for sinners,
He was buried, silence after the sermon, stone over the Word made flesh, disciples scattered, enemies satisfied, the world thinking it had closed the final chapter,
but on the third day Jesus Christ rose bodily from the grave, scars alive, death defeated, the Book vindicated, the promises yes and amen, the Word standing in resurrection light,
so do not want the Bible only as power over others, want the Christ it reveals, do not quote verses while hiding from repentance, do not use holy words to decorate an unholy life,
come thirsty, come blind, come guilty, come ruined, come out of the wasteland, because the Gospel is not secret knowledge for the strong, it is good news for sinners,
Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, was buried, rose again the third day, and everyone who repents and believes in Him receives life that no burned world can erase,
the shelves may empty, the cities may fall, the feeds may vanish, the libraries may turn to ash, the empires may censor, twist, sell, ban or bury the Book,
but the Word of the Lord endures forever.
His Name is Jesus Christ.
[OUTRO]
The world was burned.
The roads were dust.
But the Book still spoke.
Not to make men kings.
To lead sinners to Christ.
Repent
and believe the Gospel.
