LIGHT BEFORE LAB COATS

Track NameLIGHT BEFORE LAB COATS
00:00 / 04:55

[INTRO]

THE NAZARENE.
Scientism Drill.

Before the prism.
Before the photon.
Before the lab coat.
God said, “Light.”

[VERSE 1]

Light before lab coats, Word before waves,
God spoke dawn into matter’s cave.
No switch, no wire, no solar grid,
just “Let there be,” and the darkness slid.

Before men argued wave or particle,
light ran clean through the cosmic article.
Before equations caught speed in a line,
day had already obeyed divine.

Prism split colour, but never made flame,
Newton saw spectrum, never birthed its name.
Rainbows preached after judgement rain,
covenant colour through a God-made pane.

Photon talk with a quantum grin,
still can’t explain why the world begins.
Measure the packet, trace the beam,
but the source sits higher than the scientist’s dream.

Electromagnetic waves in flight,
radio, X-ray, gamma light.
Man keeps naming the shining road,
but Christ made waves before circuits flowed.

That’s not anti-science, that’s worship right,
study the ray, don’t worship sight.
A lab can map where the beam has been,
but cannot cleanse the dark within.

[HOOK]

Light before lab coats, Word before waves,
Christ is the brightness no theory can cage.
Light before textbooks, dawn before names,
all creation answers when Jesus reigns.

Light before lab coats, glory in frame,
scientists measure what God already made.
Darkness still trembles when the Lord says rise,
Jesus is Light for the spiritually blind.

[VERSE 2]

John said Word in the first line stood,
Word with God and the Word was God.
All things made through Him, nothing missed,
every photon held in a Maker’s fist.

In Him was life, and the life was light,
shining through death in a rebel night.
Darkness swung but could not win,
Light walked flesh through a world of sin.

Science can tell you the speed light flies,
but not why truth makes a dead heart rise.
Can model refraction, lens and ray,
but can’t make guilt get washed away.

Men chase light through collider rings,
split high beams into hidden things.
Mirrors, lasers, telescopes stare,
but heaven still speaks through the ordered air.

They name discoveries after human fame,
but the laws were burning before their names.
The light did not wait for a Nobel prize,
stars sang old before modern skies.

Psalm nineteen got the heavens loud,
glory declared without needing a crowd.
Day pours speech into day again,
night shows knowledge beyond the pen.

So why does man take borrowed sight,
then use that gift to deny the Light?
That’s a torch in a house saying, “There is no sun,”
while the sunrise laughs at what pride has done.

[HOOK]

Light before lab coats, Word before waves,
Christ is the brightness no theory can cage.
Light before textbooks, dawn before names,
all creation answers when Jesus reigns.

Light before lab coats, glory in frame,
scientists measure what God already made.
Darkness still trembles when the Lord says rise,
Jesus is Light for the spiritually blind.

[VERSE 3]

Jesus made blind eyes open clean,
not with optics or a clinic machine.
Mud on the eyes, mercy in clay,
darkness packed bags when the Light said day.

He walked into grief with a brighter law,
saw what the proud theologians never saw.
Not just sight in the front of the head,
but souls waking up from the spiritually dead.

On the mountain His face shone bright,
clothes flashed white with unborrowed light.
Moses and Elijah in glory stood,
Law and Prophets near the Son of God.

That is radiance no lab can own,
not screen-blue glow, not a photon throne.
Uncreated glory through human skin,
the King revealed before He carried our sin.

Then came the Cross where the noon went black,
sunlight hid as the world attacked.
Blood on wood, mercy in pain,
Light took judgement for sinners’ stain.

Buried for real in the mouth of night,
stone at the entrance, guards in sight.
Third day dawned and the grave lost claim,
death went blind when the Life came flame.

Repent from pride in borrowed illumination,
from calling God myth while you use His creation.
Science can measure the speed of a ray,
but only Christ can turn night into day.

[FINAL HOOK]

Light before lab coats, Word before waves,
Christ is the brightness no theory can cage.
Light before textbooks, dawn before names,
all creation answers when Jesus reigns.

Light before lab coats, glory in frame,
scientists measure what God already made.
Darkness still trembles when the Lord says rise,
Jesus is Light for the spiritually blind.

[OUTRO]

Before the prism.
Before the prize.
Before equations.
God made light.

Christ is risen.
Open your eyes.
