God gave Israel holy days.

Not just dates on a calendar.
Not just meals and memories.

The feasts were signs.

And Jesus is the fulfilment.

Passover night, Egypt in fear,
lamb’s blood marked the doorway clear.
Death passed over where blood was seen,
God brought slaves from Pharaoh’s machine.

Unleavened Bread, no time to stay,
leave the old life, walk God’s way.
Bread without yeast, a hurry to go,
freedom moving where rivers flow.

Firstfruits came when harvest rose,
first sheaf lifted so the nation knows:
the field has more, the promise is true,
God gives life from the ground made new.

Gen Alpha, listen, these signs are deep,
God taught truth through food and sheep.
Blood, bread, harvest, sea,
all were whispering: Christ will free.

The feasts point to Jesus,
the shadows meet the Son.
The calendar was preaching
what God Himself would do.

Lamb and bread and harvest,
Spirit, trumpet, throne.
Every holy rhythm says:
Jesus brings us home.

Jesus is Passover, Lamb of God,
blood of mercy on judgement’s road.
At the Cross, He gave His life,
saving sinners through sacrifice.

Jesus is Unleavened Bread,
sinless body, broken instead.
No corruption, no hidden yeast,
He is the holy freedom feast.

Jesus is Firstfruits from the grave,
risen Lord with power to save.
If He rose first, then more will rise,
resurrection harvest beneath new skies.

Children, see the pattern bright:
God turned feasts into Gospel light.
Not random rules, not empty ways,
Jesus fulfils the ancient days.

Lamb of God.
Bread of Life.
Firstfruits risen.
Hope from strife.

Then came Weeks, called Shavuot,
Torah remembered in holy glow.
Harvest gathered, first grain brought,
God gave His Word, His people taught.

Years later, same feast, same fire,
Pentecost came with Heaven’s choir.
Spirit poured on daughters and sons,
many tongues, but Gospel one.

Trumpets sounded, wake and hear,
holy alarm that God is near.
A call to return, a royal cry,
the King will come beneath the sky.

Day of Atonement, solemn and deep,
sin confessed while the people weep.
High priest entered the holy place,
blood before God, mercy and grace.

Shavuot pointed to Spirit flame.
Pentecost came in Jesus’ Name.

Trumpets tell the sleepers: rise.
The King will come before all eyes.

Atonement says sin must be faced.
Jesus entered with better grace.

Not goat alone.
Not yearly sign.
His blood speaks once
for all of time.

Jesus fulfils the Day of Atonement,
High Priest, sacrifice, mercy moment.
Not with blood from another thing,
but His own blood as Priest and King.

Tabernacles, tents and joy,
God with His people, girl and boy.
Desert shelters, harvest bright,
living water, temple light.

Jesus came and tabernacled here,
Word made flesh, God drawing near.
He cried, “Come drink,” to thirsty ones,
living water through the Son.

One day the feast will shine complete,
God with His people, no defeat.
New creation, open door,
dwelling with us forevermore.
