THE FISH TAUGHT THE SHIP

[INTRO]
THE NAZARENE.
Scientism Drill.
Before hulls.
Before submarines.
Before propellers.
God filled the deep with design.
[VERSE 1]
Fish cut water before ships cut foam,
God ruled depths before man called them home.
Fins had grammar in a salt-blue script,
long before steel had a harbour slip.
Streamlined bodies in a liquid lane,
pressure and flow through a Maker’s frame.
Man watched scales in a silver flash,
then shaped hulls for the ocean clash.
Submarine dreams with a borrowed curve,
copied the deep with a nervous nerve.
Sonar pings where dolphins had song,
man came late but claimed all along.
That’s not anti-science, that’s worship fixed,
study the sea but don’t crown the fish.
Don’t crown man for a copied design,
thank God first for the waterline.
The lab draws arrows where the currents go,
drag gets lowered and the engines grow.
But the mackerel moved with an older grace,
blueprints swimming with a God-made face.
You didn’t invent the wave or fin,
you learned from worlds already within.
Creation had patents before your pride,
Leviathan laughed in the deep outside.
[HOOK]
Fish taught the ship, fins preached flow,
God wrote wisdom where the deep things go.
Hull came late, scales came bright,
creation was sailing before man designed.
Fish taught the ship, sea spoke first,
salt-water sermons through the universe.
Man studies drag, thrust and foam,
Christ rules depths from His eternal throne.
[VERSE 2]
Job heard thunder from the Lord’s own mouth,
deep things trembled from north to south.
“Can you draw Leviathan with a hook?”
Man got quiet when the ocean shook.
Scales like shields, breath like flame,
creature too wild for a human name.
Not divine, but a sign that shouts:
God makes wonders men cannot map out.
Genesis filled the waters with life,
moving things flashing through the morning light.
Whales in the deep, shoals in streams,
sea floor dancing with impossible dreams.
Man makes vessels to survive the tide,
but fish were born where the dark waves hide.
Pressure would crush what our metals fear,
yet God sends life through the midnight sphere.
Hydrodynamics with polished speech,
still only traces what the Lord can teach.
Current, vortex, lift and glide,
all in the waters where His works reside.
But scientism takes the ocean chart,
then tries to exile the Maker’s heart.
Studies the creature, denies the King,
like hearing a hymn and worshipping string.
The sea keeps preaching with a salty tongue,
man is not centre, man is young.
Before our anchors, nets and fleets,
God was sovereign over all the deeps.
[HOOK]
Fish taught the ship, fins preached flow,
God wrote wisdom where the deep things go.
Hull came late, scales came bright,
creation was sailing before man designed.
Fish taught the ship, sea spoke first,
salt-water sermons through the universe.
Man studies drag, thrust and foam,
Christ rules depths from His eternal throne.
[VERSE 3]
Jonah went down where the storm winds screamed,
prophet asleep while the judgement leaned.
Thrown to the sea, swallowed in night,
three days hidden from the human sight.
Fish became tomb in the deep-dark swell,
mercy still working where the rebel fell.
Prayer rose up from the belly of waves,
God heard low from the place of graves.
Jesus said Jonah was a sign to see,
Son of Man buried three days deep.
Not in a fish, but the heart of earth,
then resurrection with a cosmic birth.
So bring the shipyard to Calvary’s hill,
let proud engines get quiet and still.
Man can cross oceans with steel and flame,
but can’t cross death without Jesus’ name.
Cross on wood where the debt got nailed,
blood like mercy where our wisdom failed.
The Maker of seas took the sinner’s place,
Lord of the depths wore a human face.
Buried for real, stone sealed tight,
third day dawned and the grave lost night.
Death got drowned by the risen King,
new creation heard the oceans sing.
Repent from pride in borrowed design,
from worshipping charts while denying the Mind.
Science can study the fish and foam,
but only Christ can bring dead souls home.
[FINAL HOOK]
Fish taught the ship, fins preached flow,
God wrote wisdom where the deep things go.
Hull came late, scales came bright,
creation was sailing before man designed.
Fish taught the ship, sea spoke first,
salt-water sermons through the universe.
Man studies drag, thrust and foam,
Christ rules depths from His eternal throne.
[OUTRO]
Fins preached.
Ships learned.
Seas roared.
Christ returned.
Creation speaks.
The Word is deeper.
