WOMEN IN THE LINE
THE NAZARENE
Series: AVATAR: THE WAR FOR THE BODY
Track 3
[Verse]
Names men tried to erase God carved them in the line
Not queens dressed up in gold but women scarred by men
Matthew unrolled the scroll four wounds shone through the names
Grace would not bleach the past truth kept the stains in frame
Tamar stood robbed of sons Judah kept back his word
She wore the veil he made his lust walked through the snare
Signet and staff came home truth rose inside her womb
More right than I she stood shame turned and named the man
Perez broke through the breach grace moved through Judah’s house
Men call her scandal still God calls her in the line
Those who withhold what’s due then judge the hurt they made
Should fear the God who reads each seal beneath the robe
Rahab lived by the wall war pressed close to her door
Kings named her by her trade God saw the faith she hid
She hid two men from death scarlet spoke through the night
Walls crashed down into dust one cord still marked her house
Jericho lost its crown Rahab joined God’s own song
Faith crossed the doomed town’s line grace brought the stranger near
Blood did not lock her out trust tied her to the Seed
Your walls may bear church names God knows who trusts His word
Ruth walked from Moab’s graves grief held her mother’s hand
Your God will be my God your road will be my road
She crossed with empty hands fields heard her glean at dawn
Boaz watched mercy bend grain fell near to her feet
He spread his cloak with care law learned the shape of love
Outsider bore the child Obed woke Jesse’s line
Moab once stood cast out Ruth stood within the book
Grace crossed the border first before kings drew their maps
Now flags turn flesh to files guards sort the pure from poor
Church doors bless blood and soil then sing of saving grace
Your Christ crossed human lines yet you draw lines through skin
God brought the Moabite while saints kept score at gates
Gene apps sell noble roots dust wears a polished crown
Old clans paint blood as gold grave worms read no clan crest
Race made an idol god Christ breaks the carved-up face
Each tribe will keep its song none gets to crown its flesh
Then David watched one roof power reached through her door
Uriah held his post kings wrote death through sealed notes
Scripture names her by pain the wife of murdered man
God kept the wound in ink thrones could not clean the crime
Bathsheba bore the grief court silk could not erase
Their first child went to dust David’s house learned the blade
Yet Solomon came through grace did not call wrong right
It named the king’s dark sin then kept the promised line
Four women split the myth no pure line brought the Christ
Five with Mary stand named grace made no shame go mute
Men drew clean trees of blood God showed the storm-torn roots
Each branch still bent through sin yet mercy bore the fruit
Tamar Rahab and Ruth one dead man’s stolen wife
Names preach from Matthew’s page grace does not hide the scars
No mask can cleanse your past no edit heals your blood
The line did not need bleach the line would bear the Lamb
Profiles crop out old grief avatars wear clean skin
Filters make roots look bright shame waits behind the glass
God published every wound no scandal broke His plan
Truth needs no polished line grace walks through broken homes
Christ took no borrowed skin He joined this scarred blood road
No blue frame hid His birth no link moved Mary’s Son
He bore a woman’s flesh yet came without man’s sin
The Word became true man and dwelt where shame had lived
Cross wood received the Seed nails pierced the promised hands
His blood spoke better things than bloodlines stained by pride
He bore the curse we earned the grave closed on our King
Then dawn tore death’s veil wide Christ walked out clothed in scars
Not one more mask or host the same flesh left the tomb
Not caste nor clan nor sex can buy one breath of grace
Repent of flesh made god trust Christ who bore your shame
His blood brings strangers near His life will raise their dust
John saw each tribe and tongue stand clothed in blood-washed white
No face was bleached or lost each voice gave Christ its praise
Books named each hidden deed thrones lost their borrowed shine
The Lamb kept every name grace sealed them in His life
Twelve gates bear tribal names kings bring the nations’ gold
The tree heals every land no blood crown stands above
Women once shamed by men now shine in Christ’s own line
The line ends at the Lamb the Lamb makes all things new
